Final week we welcomed 16 worldwide style designers to spend every week in residence for intensive enterprise improvement. The IFS Residencies develop various style expertise for the long run in each in enterprise and as creatives.
The week included a collection of talks and workshops with business professionals, overlaying subjects from finance and accounting, to sustainable materials, advertising and social media. Under we share some highlights from the week.
On Monday designers discovered about Object Displays and had an introduction to exhibitions with Alison Moloney. In addition they took half in a Mastermind session with Richard Hughes-Jones, and Finance and Accounting with Vikram Menon.
On Tuesday there was an In dialog “Promoting your Vary” with Candice Fragis and Gautam Rajani chaired by Hannah Middleton.
Wednesday noticed the designers exploring sustainable style practices. The day included a chat with Anna Fitzpatrick and Gabrielle Miller from the Centre for Sustainable Trend, a Sustainable Angle cloth workshop with Amanda Johnston, and a go to to Christopher Raeburn’s studio.
On Thursday morning the session was round story telling for press and how you can current your self for reveals and occasions with Andrew Tucker and Susie Lau. Within the afternoon the designers visited the V&A Musuem to see the usual from Nature exhibition.
The week ended with a morning session round branding, digital methods and campaigns with Victoria Nyberg Senior Technique Director Spring Studios, and a social media workshop with Lynsey Fox. Within the afternoon the group joined Sarah Mower and MatchesFashion at Fulham Palace for a picnic.
